Gap Year New Zealand :: your questions :: Should I take my gap year in Australia or New Zealand?

Should I take my gap year in Australia or New Zealand?

I think we are a bit biased on this website as we love NZ so much, but both New Zealand and Australia are great places to spend your gap year. If you want to see New Zealand properly then I would recommend at least 4-6 weeks with 3 months for a detailed trip. Why don’t you spend 6 months in Australia and 6 months in New Zealand? Or you could always take two years out and do a one-year working holiday in both countries. You can now apply online for your working holiday visas from anywhere in the world.
